Modelling of municipal rating by RBF neural networks (classification models)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem modelu dopředné neuronové sítě typu radiálně bázických funkcí (RBF) pro klasifikaci obcí Pardubického kraje do tříd na základě jejich bonity. V první části diplomové práce je vymezen pojem bonity obcí a metody jejího ohodnocování. Dále jsou z obecného hlediska definovány dopředné neuronové sítě. Ve třetí kapitole je charakterizována všeobecná struktura a způsob učení neuronových sítí typu RBF. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá návrhem modelu pro klasifikaci obcí Pardubického kraje do tříd, předzpracováním vstupních dat, návrhem a analýzou vstupních parametrů a návrhem struktur neuronových sítí typu RBF pro klasifikaci bonity obcí. Pátá kapitola je zaměřena na analýzu, validitu a verifikaci výsledků klasifikace navrženého modelu a struktur neuronových sítí typu RBF. Návrh, validita a verifikace navrženého modelu je uskutečněna v programovém prostředí SPSS Clementine 10.1. Závěr práce obsahuje uživatelskou příručku uvedeného programového prostředí.

Abstract:

This thesis includes a model of feed-forward neural network with a Radial Basis Function (RBF) for the classification of municipalities for the Pardubice region according to their credit ratings. In the first part, the term credit rating is defined together with possible methods of credit rating evaluations. In addition, principles of feed-forward neural networks are defined here. In the third chapter, the description of basic structures and methods for the RBF neural networks{\crq} learning are discussed. In the forth chapter, a model for the classification of municipalities according to their credit ratings into groups for the Pardubice region is set up, the pre-processing of input data is described and the determination and analysis of input parameters is provided together with a proposal of a neural network based on the RBF for the classification of municipalities with respect to their credit ratings. The fifth chapter focuses on analysis, validation, and verification of results. This is done using the SPSS Clementine 10.1 programme environment. The conclusion provides a user manual for this programme environment, together with a complex description of procedures used in classifications that are carried out in the RBF neural networks framework in the Clementine 10.1 programme environment.
