Sephardic Jews in Sarajevo
Abstract:
Tématem této práce je komunita sefardských Židů v Sarajevu. První část je věnována historickému přehledu a představení sefardské komunity na pozadí společenské situace v jednotlivých obdobích. V druhé části jsou pak uvedeny stěžejní architektonické a literární památky sefardského původu a taktéž významné společenské aktivity této komunity.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the community of Sephardic Jews in Sarajevo. The first part provides a historical overview and describes the Sephardic community in the background of the social situation in each period. The second part introduces the key architectural and literary monuments of Sephardic origin, together with the major activities of this community.
