Effects of different methods of regeneration on the production and quality of forage on permanent grasslands in the White Carpathians

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivy rozdílných způsobů obnovy na produkci a kvalitu píce dlouhodobě nehnojených travních porostů v Bílých Karpatech. První část literární rešerše, pojednává o významu travních porostů, jejich zakládání, obnov, údržby a hnojení. V části druhé práce seznamuje s principy ekologického zemědělství a ekologickým zemědělstvím ke vztahu k trvalým travním porostům. V části následující je popsáno území CHKO Bílé Karpaty, zejména přírodní podmínky oblasti. Je zde hodnocena i problematika sucha a nedostatečné výživy trvalých travních porostů. Výsledky pokusu ukázaly, že produkce píce v roce obnov byla zvýšena pouze v důsledku vyšší produkce krycí plodiny v prvních sečích. U původního porostu se v první seči sklidilo 179 g/m2 suché píce a na obnovených plochách s krycí plodinou 234 g/m2 suché píce. Ve druhé seči, však rozdíly ve výnosech nebyly průkazné, průměrný výnos druhé seče varianty TTP byl 235g/m2 a na obnovené ploše 213g/m2 suché píce. Píce z krycích plodin je díky nižšímu zastoupení ADF a vyššímu zastoupení NDF vhodná i pro krmení dojnic v laktaci. Píce z původních porostů je díky nižšímu obsahu živin vhodná pro krmení jalovic, dojnic v období stání na sucho, nebo extenzivně chovaného masného skotu. Luční směs použitá pro obnovu poskytla v roce výsevu vyšší produkci i vyšší pokryvnost v panenské seči ve srovnání se směsí regionální. Na hnojení hnojem reagovala zvýšením výnosu více luční směs v porovnání s regionální směsí. Plný potenciál pokusu bude možné sledovat, až v dalších letech po založení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the effects of different methods of regeneration on the production and quality of forage of long-term unfertilized grasslands in the White Carpathians. The first part of literary research, discussing the importance of grasslands, their establishment, restoration, maintenance and fertilization. The second part of the thesis introduces the principles of organic farming and organic farming in relation to permanent grasslands. The following section describes the area of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area, especially the natural conditions of the area. There is also an evaluation of the issue of drought and insufficient nutrition of permanent grasslands. The results of experiments showing that forage production in the year resumed were increased only due to higher production of cover crops in the first years. From the original permanent grassland, 179 g / m2 of dry forage was harvested in the first cut and 234 g / m2 of dry forage was harvested from renovated sward (nursery crop). In the second cut, however, the differences in yield were not significant, the average yield of the second mowing of the permanent grassland variant was 235 g / m2 and on the renewed area 213 g / m2 of dry fodder. Forage from renewed areas, thanks to the lower proportion of ADF and higher proportion of NDF is also suitable for feeding lactating dairy cows. Due to the lower nutrient content, forage from the original stands is suitable for feeding heifers, dry dairy cows, or extensively reared beef cattle. Meadow mixture used for renovation provided higher production and higher cover in the second cut in the year of sowing compared to the regional mixture. It responded to manure fertilization, it increased the yield more at meadow mixture compared to the regional mixture. It was not be possible to monitor the full potential of the experiment in the establishment year, but the effect of the swards renovation would become evident in following harvest years.
