Abstract:

Bakalářská práce o mládeneckých spolcích ve východních Čechách v období od konce 19. století do 20. let 20. století poukazuje na zajímavý fenomén, který se u nás objevil v rámci spolkového života na přelomu dvou století. Institut spolků mládenecký hrál významnou společenskou roli, o čemž svědčí především pořádání mnoha dobročinných akcí, z jejichž výtěžků podporovaly dobročinné účely. Jejich vznik a následná existence je většinou časově velmi omezená, a to v řádu pouhých několika desetiletí. Zakládání mládeneckých spolků probíhalo nejčastěji od 80. let 19. století a jejich činnosti můžeme sledovat ještě do začátku druhé světové války, kdy většina buď zcela zanikla, nebo se transformovala do jiných spolků. Jen velmi málo jich v Čechách přežilo období druhé republiky a okupace. Práce se tak zabývá vybranými mládeneckými spolky, které působily ve východních Čechách na přelomu 19. a 20. století.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's thesis on Youth Associations in East Bohemia from the end of the 19th century to the 1920s points to an interesting phenomenon that emerged in our country at the turn of the 20th century. The institute of youth associations played an important social role, as evidenced above all by the organisation of many charitable events, the proceeds of which supported charitable causes. Their formation and subsequent existence is usually very limited in time, being only a few decades. The founding of bachelor societies took place mostly from the 1880s onwards and their activities can be traced back to the beginning of the Second World War, when most of them either disappeared completely or were transformed into other societies. Very few of them survived the period of the Second Republic and the occupation in Bohemia. The thesis thus deals with selected bachelor associations that were active in East Bohemia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
