Socio-economic characteristics, image and quality of life of the town

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vnitřní analýzu současného stavu image města Kolín. Nejprve jsou obecně charakterizovány pojmy jako image, image města, marketing města a komunikace. Další kapitola popisuje teoretická východiska z oblasti analýzy image. Následně je popsána charakteristika konkrétní image města Kolín s dominantním zaměřením na marketingové metody Městského úřadu Kolín. V závěru diplomové práce je provedena analýza dotazníkového šetření rezidentů města Kolín. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, jak občané vnímají své město a na základě výsledků navrhnout doporučení, které by mohlo napomoci ke zlepšení celkového image města.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on an internal analysis of the current state of the image of the town of Kolín. Firsty, the general notions such as image, city image, city marketing and communication are characterized. The next chapter contains information related to image analysis. Further follows the description of the specific image of the town of Kolín, with emphasis on marketing methods of the Kolín Municipality Office. Finally, a survey analysis is conducted among Kolín residents. The aim is to find out what the residents' perception of their town is and to suggest recommendations that could improve the overall image of the town.
