Crisis as an investment opportunity

Abstract:

Obsahem této diplomové práce je zjistit jak krize změnila preference investorů a spekulantů v období finanční krize 2008 dle objemu obchodů na trzích. V první části práce jsou vysvětleny možnosti účasti na finančních trzích, a to formou investic a spekulací. Velká pozornost je věnována vysvětlení podstaty instrumentů trhů, konkrétně akciím, dluhopisům, fondům a derivátům včetně uvedení metod jejich analýzy a druhům analýz. Analýzám či oceňování instrumentů jsou věnovány konečné části kapitol o spekulacích a investicích. Ve druhé části práce, aplikační, jsou charakterizovány krize ve vztahu k vybraným státům Evropy a Ameriky jako celku pro znázornění současné politicko-ekonomické situace. Dále jsou analyzovány objemy kapitálu akcií, dluhopisů, fondů, instrumentů peněžního trhu a derivátů (obchodníků s cennými papíry v ČR). Objemy kapitálu jsou znázorněny komplexně v jenotlivých letech. V závěru jsou znázorněny druhově v grafu, který obsahuje vývoj objemu kapitálu v jednotlivých letech (2006,2007, 2008 a 2009).

Abstract:

The content of this thesis is to determine how the crisis has changed the preferences of investors and speculators during the 2008 financial crisis, according to the volume of operations in the markets. The first part explains the possibility of participation in financial markets, through investment and speculation. Great attention is given to the explanation of the nature of markets instruments, namely shares, bonds, funds and derivates including the methods of analysis and its types. The final chapters of speculation and investment are devoted to analysis or valuations instruments. In the second, practical, part, the crisis is described in relation to selected countries of Europe and America as a whole to demonstrate the current politico-economic situation. Further, the volumes of equity shares, bonds, funds, money market instruments and derivates (securities dealers in the country) are analyzed. Volumes of capital are shown complexly in individual years. In conclusion, types are shown in the graph, which includes the development of capital in individual years (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009).
