Hierarchy of needs seniors

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá hodnotovou orientací a zjišťováním preferovaných potřeb seniorů. V teoretické části jsou vymezené pojmy, jako jsou fenomén stáří, změny spojené s odchodem do důchodu, různé pohledy na stáří a jeho změny. Velká pozornost je věnována teoriím potřeb dle různých autorů a faktorům, které výrazně ovlivňují priority starších lidí. Ve výzkumné části je stanoven cíl a metoda kvantitativního šetření, které bylo provedeno na základě získaných dat prostřednictvím dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Cílem tohoto výzkumu bylo zjistit potřeby seniorské populace starší 65 let a jejich hierarchii. Vlastní výzkum probíhal v Domově pro seniory v Petřvaldu u Karviné a zároveň v domácnostech mnou oslovených seniorů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with value orientations and the identification of the preferred needs of seniors. In the theoretical part are defined terms, such as the phenomenon of old age, the changes associated with retirement, different perspectives on old age and its changes. Great attention is paid to theories of needs according to different authors and factors, which greatly affect the priorities of older people. The research part is to set a goal and method of the quantitative investigation, which was carried out on the basis of the obtained data through a questionnaire of its own design. The aim of this research was to determine the needs of the senior population over 65 years of age and their hierarchy. Own research took place in a Home for the elderly in Petřvaldu in Karviná and at the same time in the home with me, addressed the seniors.
