Práce se zabývá spolkovým životem na Strakonicku. Začátky spolkového života spadají do 2. poloviny 19. století. Práce popisuje vznik, historii a činnost některých spolků na Strakonicku před rokem 1914, kdy začala první světová válka, která vývoj spolků zpomalila nebo úplně přerušila. Abstract:
This thesis presents some societies and clubs in Strakonice and its surroundings. The clubs began to form in the second half of the 19th century. The thesis describes the establishment, history and activity of these clubs before 1914. In 1914 began the First World War, which slowed or interrupted their development.
