Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Život s onkologicky nemocným člověkem“ se věnuje tématu onkologického onemocnění v nukleární rodině. Zabývá se psychickými a sociálními úskalími, se kterými se musí rodina onkologicky nemocného pacienta vypořádat. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část práce bakalářské práce se zabývá onkologickým onemocněním, jeho symptomy, průběhem nemoci, diagnostikou a léčbou. Dále práce obsahuje psychosociální část zabývající se prožitky pacienta a jeho rodiny v různých stádiích onemocnění a také sociálními a zdravotnickými službami. Empirická část obsahuje rozhovory se členy rodiny onkologicky nemocného pacienta, jejichž odpovědi jsou porovnávány s literárními zdroji použitými v teoretické části bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis “Life with an oncologically diseased patient” deals with a topic of oncological illness in a nuclear family. The thesis describes psychical and social obstacles that family with one member suffering from cancer has to overcome. The thesis is divided into two parts – to theoretical and to practical part. The theoretical part defines the oncological disease, its symptoms, the progression of the disease, diagnostic, and a process of treatment. Moreover, the thesis includes psychosocial development of the patient and its family in various stages of the illness, and it also describes the social and health services. The practical part includes interviews with members of family in which one member suffers from cancer, and their answers are compared with literary sources that are used in the theoretical part of the thesis.
