Práce je zaměřena na trestněprávní ochranu zvířat v české právním řádu poskytovanou v trestním zákoníku a v zákoně o trestní odpovědnosti právnických osob před jejich novelou č. 114/2020 Sb., a po ní. Cílem práce je zejména zabývat se dostatečností stávající právní úpravy, jaké konkrétní změny novela přinesla a jak se tyto projeví v aplikační praxi. Diploma focuses on the criminal protection of animals in the Czech legal system provided in the Criminal Code before and after their amendment No. 114/2020 Coll. The aim of the thesis is mainly to deal with the sufficiency of the existing legal regulation, what specific changes the amendment has brought and how these are reflected in the application practice.
