This thesis deals with positioning of the patient in intensive care. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the issue of pressure sores, sorrorigen wounds and prevention of their origin. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá polohovaním pacienta v intenzívnej starostlivosti. Práca je rozdelená na časť teoretickú a praktickú.
