True faith and war in the 1st half of the 5th century
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá formováním křesťanské teologie v neklidném období sklonku antiky a vztahem této „pravé víry“ k válkám a válečnictví obecně. Zmíněny jsou dvě výrazné osoby 1. poloviny 5. století, filosof a teolog Aurelius Augustinus a papež Lev I. Veliký, s jejichž dopisy v díle pracuji a dokládám jimi některá tvrzení a fakta.
Abstract:
This work deals with forming of Christian theology in the restive period towards the close of antiquity and with relationship of this "true faith" to wars and warfare itself.
