Bakalářská práce se zabývá odlišnými literárními žánry v literatuře a ve filmových adaptacích. Těmito žánry konkrétně jsou: horor, vědecko-fantastický román a balada. Každý žánr je nejprve definován a je nastíněn jeho historický vývoj. Dále je stručně představen autor zvolené literární předlohy. Bachelor thesis deals with different literary genres in literature and in film adaptations. These genres are concretely: horror, science fiction and ballad.
