Competitive analysis of the hotel facilities by the level of provided services - case studies

Abstract:

MADLIAKOVÁ, Lenka. Competition analysis of hotel facilities in accordance to the level of provided services - case study. [Bachelor thesis] The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague Prague: 2015. 56 pages. The bachelor thesis is focused on the level of provided services at a three-star hotel facilities and four-star hotel facilities in Jasná Low Tatras. Identify the impact of the level of provided services to competitors in the hotel facilities and also reviewing of the satisfaction of customers with the services provided in the hotel facilities. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines theoretical concepts and the main topic of the work - competition analysis. The second chapter is focused on the resort Jasná Low Tatras and specific hotel facilities, services which they provide and also the price level. The second part of the chapter is focused on the comparison of hotel facilities among themselves according to their own criteria and according to the point of view of the customer´s satisfaction with provided services provided on the basis of reviews. In the end of the chapter there is an evaluation of the research. The third chapter is done according to the survey and research, the aim of this chapter is to show the ways how hotel facilities can improve their services provided to their customers. The third chapter contains the plans how the hotels could provide more efficient services and to differentiate from another competitors. In the work are used several methods and analysis - comparative, observation and SWOT analysis. A further and very important is the method of interviews with the employees and managers of the hotel facilities. The main sources of information are the comments from the guests and the interviews with employees. There are often used all available internal resources and materials, web resources which are connected with the topic of this work and the amount of specialized literature

MADLIAKOVÁ, Lenka. Analýza konkurencie hotelových zariadení podľa úrovne poskytovaných služieb – prípadová štúdia. [ Bakalárska práca ] Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha: 2015. 56 strán. Bakalárska práca je zameraná na úroveň poskytovaných služieb v hotelových zariadeniach trojhviezdičkového a štvorhviezdičkových hoteloch v stredisku Jasná Nízke Tatry. Identifikovať vplyv úrovne poskytovaných služieb na konkurenciu v hotelierstve a tiež zhodnotenie spokojnosti zákazníkov s poskytnutými službami v hotelových zariadeniach. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Prvá kapitola vymedzuje teoretické pojmy a subjekt práce – analýza konkurencie. Druhá kapitola je zameraná na stredisko Jasná Nízke Tatry a konkrétnym hotelovým zariadeniam, službám s ktorými disponujú a tiež cenovou úrovňou. Druhá časť kapitoly je zameraná na porovnávanie hotelových zariadení medzi sebou podľa vlastných bodových kritérií a spokojnosti zákazníkov s poskytnutými službami na základe recenzií. V závere kapitoly je vyhodnotenie výskumu práce. Podľa pozorovania a výskumu je zostavená tretia kapitola, ktorá je zameraná na zlepšenie poskytovaných služieb v pozorovaných hotelových zariadeniach. Tretia kapitola obsahuje návrhy, ktorými by hotely mohli efektívnejšie poskytovať služby a tým sa odlíšiť od konkurencie. Práca je riešená pomocou metód niekoľkých analýz a to komparatívnou, analýzou pozorovanie a tiež SWOT analýzou. Ďalšia a veľmi dôležitá je metóda rozhovorov so zamestnancami a manažérmi hotelov. Medzi hlavné informačné zdroje zaraďujeme pripomienky od hotelových hostí a spomínané rozhovory so zamestnancami. Často sú využívané všetky dostupné interné zdroje a materiály, webové zdroje zamerané na spracovanú tému a množstvo odbornej literatúry.
