Study of elemental distribution in teeth samples by LA-ICP-MS
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje využití LA-ICP-MS v analýze fosilních zvířecích zubů. Hlavním cílem je sledování distribuce vybraných prvků ve vzorcích zubů a využití fluktuace poměrů Ba/Ca, Zn/Ca a Sr/Ca k určení migrace a výživy jednotlivých zvířat.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the usage of LA-ICP-MS analysis of the fossil animal teeth. The main goal is monitoring the distribution of selected elements in the samples of teeth and use of fluctuation Ba/Ca, Sr/Ca and Zn/Ca to determine migration and nutrition of animals.
