The Liechtenstein Picture gallery on the Castle Sternberg in Moravia
Abstract:
Práce je zaměřena na dějiny a vývoj sběratelství a mecenášských aktivit rodu Liechtensteinů, v druhé části pak navazuje zpracováním Liechtensteinské obrazárny hradu Šternberka na Moravě, založené počátkem 20. století Janem II. z Liechtensteinu. Jednotlivá díla a jejich význam představuje formou katalogových hesel
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on a history and development of art collecting and patronage of Liechtenstein family. The second part is dedicated to analysing and examining of Liechtenstein picture gallery in the Sternberg Castle, founded in the early 20th century by Jan II. from Liechtenstein. Individual pictures and their meaning are present in the form of the catalogue files
