Bakalářská práce se zabývá vznikem a upevněním legend o Williamu F. Codym, známém jako Buffalo Bill. Dále se práce snaží zjistit, zda tyto legendy měly nějaký faktický základ. The bachelor thesis deals with the development of the legends about William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill), their creation, establishment and with the question whether the legends had some factual basis. In the theoretical part the thesis describes aspects of the era in which William F. Cody lived and the environment where the legends took place.
