Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a non-proteinogenic amino acid which, in plants, rapidly accumulates in response to a variety of biotic and abiotic stresses. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the role of GABA metabolism in the growth of A. thaliana under salt stress. Kyselina gamma-aminomáselná (GABA) je neproteinogenní aminokyselina, k jejíž akumulaci v rostlinách dochází v odpovědi na řadu biotických a abiotických stresů. Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat úlohu GABA metabolismu v růstu A. thaliana za solného stresu.
