Spinoza's Philosophy of Mind
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se pokouší o analýzu Spinozovy filozofie mysli. Práce vychází ze Spinozova metafyzického systému, přičemž důkladně analyzuje Spinozovu koncepci substance a koncepci substanciálních atributů. Na základě této analýzy se práce snaží zařadit Spinozův systém mezi současné psychofyzické postoje, a především se snaží prokázat, že je platné chápat Spinozovo řešení jako teorii psychofyzické …more
Abstract:
The thesis attempts to analyse Spinoza’s philosophy of mind. It is based on his metaphysical system while carefully analysing his conception of substance and substantial attributes. On the basis of this analysis it attempts to fit Spinoza’s system in between contemporary psychophysical theories and to prove that his solution can be seen as a theory of psychophysical identity.
