Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem Parlamentních a prezidentských voleb ve Francii v roce 2007. První část je věnována ústavnímu systému francouzské V. republiky a jeho vývoji, včetně např. problému kohabitace. Další částí je volební systém, resp. francouzské volební právo týkající se voleb do Národního shromáždění. Senátu a kandidatury prezidentské. Je zdůrazněna funkce Ústavní rady jako kontroly ústavnosti a volebních regulí. Dále jsou pojmenováni hlavní kandidáti prezidentských voleb a strany voleb do Národního shromáždění, průběh voleb a výsledky, včetně závěrečného zhodnocení

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with a very interesting subject – The presidential and parliamentary elections 2007 in France. When laborating my thesis, using original sources, i have tried to show basic developement of french constitutional system, the very frame of the state which leads to crystalised form of this election system and after all also formed contemporary political representation. This work was targeted to briefly introduce the whole complex of basic stones and characteristic symbols, including historical changement of the election system to conclude into the actuall events during elections 2007. I have focused on the main institutions in dealing with elections. Therefore both chambers of the Parliament and of course the president. I have also extensivly mentioned the Constitutional council , main character in the constitutional and electoral law. Later in the text i have pointed irregularities in the system both in positive and negative way. The text includes a clear structure of the election candidature, which is a necessary part of any free election. And what is the 2007 political reality, who are the main candidates? That is what i tried to describe by listing important parties and of course presidential candidates. And last but not least, after description of the campaign i have put some notes about the winning candidate.
