Export in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na export v České republice. Práce se nejprve zabývá důvody mezinárodního obchodu a vlivem globalizace na mezinárodní obchod. Dále je v práci popsán vývoj exportu od počátku vzniku samostatné České republiky do roku 2015. Poté je vylíčen export České republiky z hlediska teritoriální a komoditní struktury a současně jsou vyzdviženy klíčové země pro český export. Následně je provedena regresní analýza a korelace, která zkoumá do jaké míry je export závislý či nezávislý na vybraném nástroji. Za nástroje neboli regresory byly zvoleny HDP EU 28, HDP Německa, import České republiky a devizové kurzy amerického dolaru, eura a rublu.

Abstract:

The focus of this thesis is the Czech Republic export. First, the thesis addresses reasons for an international trade and how it is influenced by the globalization. Then, the Czech export trends are presented, starting from the beginning of the Czech Republic independence up until the year 2015. Those export trends are described from a perspective of territorial and commodity market structure, with emphasis on the key counties for the Czech export. Next, the thesis provides a correlative analysis of the selected regressors, i.e. their dependence or independence to the export trends. The selected regressors were the GDP of EU, the GDP of Germany, the Czech import and the exchange rates of USD, EUR and RUB.
