Illustrations of children´s book for preschool children in the Fund of Czech literature after 1990 to the present and its application in educational practice in kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje otázkám spojeným s možnostmi péče učitele mateřské školy o rozvoj kompetencí dítěte předškolního věku výtvarnými činnostmi s využitím ilustrací dětských knih. V bakalářské práci vymezuji pojem ilustrace, její techniky a funkce. Dále se zabývám pojmem ?dětská kniha?, stručným historickým vývojem ilustrace dětské knihy ve fondu české literatury a jejím současným stavem. Následně rozebírám význam ilustraci v edukačním procesu a výtvarnou dimenzi ilustrace. Součástí této práce je průzkum využití ilustrace ve výchově dětí a jejich zájmu o ilustrace. V poslední části předkládám přípravy čtyř výtvarných setkání s dětmi ve výtvarných činnostech mateřské školy s využitím ilustrací. Závěr se týká zhodnocení získaných znalostí z oblasti ilustrace dětské knihy a jejího praktického využití.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with questions of nursery teacher?s possibilities in competence development of preschool children by visual activities with the use of children books? illustrations. In the bachelor thesis, I delimit the term of illustration, its technique and function. Furthermore, I follow up on the term ?children?s book?, short historical development of children?s book illustration in the Czech literature fund and its current state. Additionally, I analyze the importance of illustrations in educational process and the visual dimension of illustration. Research on the use of illustration in children?s upbringing and their interest in illustration is also a part of this thesis. In the last section, I present four examples of arts and craft meetings with children in their nursery schools with the use of illustrations. The conclusion deals with evaluation of gained knowledge in the area of children?s book illustration and its practical use.
