Medical rehabilitation plan and procedure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je léčebně-rehabilitační plán a postup u svalové dystrofie typu Duchenne. Zahrnuje tři části, a to obecnou část, speciální část a kazuistiku konkrétního pacienta s tímto onemocněním. Obecná část je zaměřena na samotné onemocnění Duchenneovou svalovou dystrofií. Zahrnuje teoretické poznatky o onemocnění, do kterých se řadí definice, etiologie, incidence a prognóza onemocnění, dále patologie a fyziologie, klinický obraz a průběh onemocnění či diagnostické postupy. Zahrnuje také farmakologické postupy a možnosti léčby. Speciální část se zabývá komplexní léčebnou rehabilitací, jejími složkami, terapeutickými metodami a postupy, zaměřující se na symptomatickou léčbu Duchenneovy svalové dystrofie. Ve třetí části je uvedena kazuistika pacienta, která obsahuje vstupní i výstupní komplexní kineziologický rozbor, doplňující vyšetření a testy cíleně využívané na pacientovu diagnózu Duchenneovu svalovou dystrofii a stanovení krátkodobého a dlouhodobého rehabilitačního plánu.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is medical rehabilitation plan and procedure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It consists of three parts, namely the general part, the special part and the case report of a specific patient with this disease. The general part is focused on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It includes theoretical knowledge about the disease such as definition, etiology, incidence and prognosis of the disease, as well as pathology and physiology, the clinical picture and the course of the disease or diagnostic procedures. It also includes pharmacological procedures and treatment options. The special part deals with comprehensive medical rehabilitation, its components, therapeutic methods and procedures, which are focused on the symptomatic treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. In the third part there is a patient’s case report, which contains an input and output comprehensive kinesiological analysis, additional examination and tests specifically used for the patient’s diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and short-term and long-term rehabilitation plan.
