Diplomová práce se zabývá románem Mistr a Markétka Michaila Bulgakova a jeho českými překlady od Aleny Morávkové a Libora Dvořáka. Teoretická část představuje teorii uměleckého překladu, proces uměleckého překladu nebo jednotlivé překladatelské problémy. Dále se zabývá životopisem autora románu a stručným obsahem díla. The aim of this diploma thesis is to devote attention to a novel The Master and Margarita written by Mikhail Bulgakov and its Czech translations penned by Alena Morávková and Libor Dvořák. The first part of the thesis deals with the issues of translation theory, the interpretation process and individual translation problems.
