Nuclear Energy in Perspective on The European Union's Energy Security

Abstract:

Práce usiluje o hloubkové a zároveň komplexní zobrazení problematiky jaderné energetiky z perspektivy energetické bezpečnosti na specifickém území současné Evropské unie. Práce čtenáři rovněž poskytuje představu o celkovém vývoji evropské jaderné energetiky provázáním jaderného energetického rozvoje a energetických politik jednotlivých států v oblasti energetické bezpečnosti. První kapitola této práce je věnována historické analýze nástupu jaderné energetiky na území států Evropské unie v 50. letech. Druhá kapitola se zabývá prvním výzkumným cílem, tedy vyvrácením domněnek o nynějším vzestupu jaderného rozvoje v oblasti reálného stavu energetiky na území států současné Evropské unie. Náplní poslední kapitoly je hlavní výzkumný cíl práce, a to odpověď na otázku, jakým směrem se bude jaderná energetika na území EU ubírat v příštích letech.

Abstract:

This master thesis will be concerned with nuclear energy of the European Union in the context of an energy security. The thesis consists of 3 chapters. The first chapter particularly deals with historic analyze of the European nuclear programs in the fifties of the last century. The second chapter deals with real energy situation in the nuclear power programs in the member states of the European Union and provides general historic development of the national nuclear power programs. The third chapter includes three case studies which are concern on a future of the nuclear energy in the EU. The result, achieved in the thesis refers to potent development of the national nuclear power programs in the next decades in EU.
