Opportunities for Students in Participation in Voluntary Services in Zlín Region

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je motivace studentů pracovat jako dobrovolník ve zdravotnickém nebo sociálním zařízení. Teoretická část se zabývá objasnění pojmů dobrovolník, dobrovolnictví, motivace a prosociálního chování. Práce také popisuje oblasti, ve kterých se může vyskytovat dobrovolník. V praktické části se věnujeme popisu některých zařízení ze zdravotní a sociální oblasti ve Zlínském kraji. Průzkum realizujeme pomocí dotazníkové kvantitativní metody, kde zjišťujeme, jaké jsou motivy k tomuto jednání v jednotlivých zařízeních. Pro doplnění a obohacení práce jsme zvolily metodu životního příběhu.

Abstract:

Point of this thesis is finding out students motivation in working as volunteers in health care or social facilities. The theoretical part contents claryfing the concept of volunteer, volunteering, motivation and antisocial behaviour. This thesis describe the areas where the volunteer can do these activities. I mainly devoted the practical part to the descriptions of some health care and social areas in the Zlín Region. The research is implemented with questionnaire by quantitative method where I reveal what kind of motivation is in this be-haviour and in particular facilities. To complete and enrich this thesis we used method of real life story.
