Baroque architecture in the Czech Republic and its teaching in secondary schools

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tematikou barokní architektury v Čechách a její výukou na středních školách. Je rozdělena do dvou částí. První teoretická část analyzuje učební texty pro střední školy a pro gymnázia, podle nichž se dějepis vyučoval ve druhé polovině 20. století a v nichž se téma české barokní architektury vyskytuje. Tyto texty jsou porovnávány s materiály, jež byly vydávány po roce 1989. Pozornost je v této části věnována také digitálním učebním materiálům (DUM), ve kterých se téma české barokní architektury rovněž objevuje. Druhá praktická část se snaží nastínit možnosti využití tohoto učiva v souladu s RVP, a to prostřednictvím několika forem. Od zpracování učebních textů pro střední školy, včetně ilustračního materiálu, tvorby pracovních listů, až po tematické exkurze, jejichž cílem je poznávání barokních staveb na Mostecku a v blízkém okolí, pražské barokní architektury, lidového baroka a barokní gotiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the theme of Baroque architecture in the Czech Republic and its teaching in secondary schools. It is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part analyzes the textbooks for secondary schools and gymnasiums, according to them history is taught in the second half of the 20th century, where the topic of the Czech Baroque architecture occurs. These textbooks are compared with the materials that were published after 1989. The focus in this section is also devoted to the digital teaching materials (DUM), where the topic of the Czech Baroque architecture is also found. The second practical part tries to outline the possibilities of using this curriculum in accordance with RVP through several forms. From the elaboration of textbooks for secondary schools, including illustrative materials, creating of worksheets up to the thematic tours aimed at exploring the Baroque buildings in the Most area and around it, Prague Baroque architecture, folk and Baroque Gothic.
