Financial management in social work organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem finančního řízení v organizaci sociální práce. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat podstatu finančního řízení a současně zmapovat, jakým způsobem je realizováno finanční řízení ve vybraných organizacích sociální práce. Dále zjistit, zda v těchto organizacích zaměstnávají fundraisera a zjistit, kdo v praxi skutečně odpovídá za finanční řízení organizací sociální práce. Práci tvoří tři hlavní kapitoly. Je to teoretická část, metodologická část a výzkumná část. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na neziskový sektor, sociální práci, organizace poskytující sociální služby, financování organizací sociální práce a finanční řízení těchto organizací. Metodologická část popisuje cíl výzkumu, hlavní výzkumnou otázku a dílčí výzkumné otázky. Popsány jsou zde také použité metody ve výzkumu. Empirická část představuje výzkum, který byl realizován ve čtyřech organizacích sociální práce ve městě Ostrava, které jsou zde stručně charakterizovány. Dále jsou zde interpretovány výzkumná data a celkové shrnutí výzkumu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of financial management in organization of social work. The aim of this thesis is to describe the essence of financial management and simultaneously monitor how it is implemented financial management in selected organizations of social work. Furthermore, to determine whether these organizations employ a fundraiser, and find out who really is in practice responsible for the financial management of social work organizations. The work consists of three main chapters. It is a theoretical part, methodological part and research part. The theoretical part focuses on the non-profit sector, social work, social service organizations, funding organizations, social work and financial management of these organizations. The methodological part describes the goal of the research, the main research question and individual research questions. Disclosed herein are also methods used in the research. Empirical part is the research that was conducted in four organizations of social work in Ostrava, which are briefly described. There are also interpreted research data and a summary of the research.
