Financing of small and middle enterprises

Abstract:

The target of my butchelor work is to characterize the alternative forms of financing – factoring and forfaiting. Small and middle enterprises are the inseparable part of every economy. In conditions of Slovak republic they have the irredeemable assignment especially in the ambit of making the workstations and the regional development. They are flexible, they respond to the changes of sale very fast but they also have problems with financing its activities. There are described small and middle enterprises, its history, the definition of basic concepts, definitions and also advantages and disadvantages of small and middle enterprises in the first chapter. There are described every opportunities of inquiries financial springs, inquiries equity capital from external and internal springs as a foreign springs by a credit form in the next chapter. In the third chapter I targeted the factoring and forfaiting. Their formation and developement, definitions, functions, kinds, charges, course of operations and advantages and disadvantages too. There is also shown their bilateral comparision. In the last part I addressed myself to analyse of financing an enterprise by factoring on concrete example from experience by Transfactor Slovakia and NLB Factor association.

Abstract:

Cieľom bakalárskej práce je financovanie malých a stredných podnikov so zameraním na alternatívne formy financovania – factoring, forfaiting. Malé a stredné podniky sú neoddeliteľnou súčasťou každej ekonomiky. V podmienkach Slovenskej republiky majú nezastupiteľnú úlohu predovšetkým v oblasti tvorby pracovných miest a regionálneho rozvoja. Sú flexibilné, rýchlo reagujú na trhové zmeny ale taktiež majú často problémy s financovaním svojich aktivít. V prvej kapitole sú popísané malé a stredné podniky, ich história, vymedzenie hlavných pojmov, definície a tiež výhody a nevýhody malých a stredných podnikov. V ďalšej kapitole sú opísané všetky možnosti získavania finančných zdrojov, získavanie vlastného kapitálu z externých a interných zdrojov ako aj získavanie cudzích zdrojov úverovou formou. V tretej kapitole som sa zamerala najmä na factoring a forfaiting. Ich vznik a vývoj, definície, funkcie, druhy, náklady, priebeh operácii a tiež na výhody a nevýhody. Je tu uvedené aj ich vzájomné porovnanie. V poslednej časti sa venujem analýze financovania podniku prostredníctvom factoringu na konkrétnom príklade v praxi prostredníctvom factoringovej spoločnosti Transfactor Slovakia a NLB Factor.
