Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá produkcí jehněčího a skopového masa v České republice, jeho důležitostí v lidské výživě a v neposlední řadě i vlivy na jatečnou hodnotu a kvalitu masa.V práci je uveden chov ovcí v minulosti i v současnosti, a to nejen v České republice, ale také v Evropě a ve světě. Bachelor thesis deals with lamb and mutton production in the Czech Republic, importance of lamb and mutton meat in human nutrition and with influences on carcass value of meat and its quality.The thesis describes sheep breeding in the past and now in the Czech Republic, Europe and in the world.
