Abstract:

Tématem práce je uplatnění interního auditu v korporátní firmě. Cílem diplomové práce je porovnat teoretické zásady interního auditu s praxí v korporátní firmě. Teoretická část čerpá převážně z české odborné literatury a pojednává o historii, vzniku, vnitřní kontrole a postupu provádění interního auditu. Dále jsou zde specifikovány požadavky a role osoby interního auditora. V neposlední řadě je zde zmíněna Komora interních auditorů, Evropská konfederace institutů pro interní audit. Tyto instituce významně přispívají ke zlepšování a zkvalitňování služeb interního auditu. Poslední dvě částí teorie jsou rizika a podvody spojené s interním auditem a dále vnitřní směrnice. Praktická část pojednává o praktických návrzích na zdokonalení interního auditu v korporátní společnosti. Použitou metodou je zejména evaluace vlastních zkušeností a následná komparace teorie s praxí.

Abstract:

Theme of diploma thesis is Internal audit in a corporate company. Target of this thesis is comparation of teoretical rules for internal control with business practice. Teoretical part use mostly czech professional literature. The first part deals with history and development of internal audit, internal control and processing of internal audit and preparing of internal auditor´s report. Next part deals with some requirements for person of internal auditor and his/her role in corporate company. Small part of this thesis is devoted to Institute of internal auditors and European confederation for institutes of internal auditors. These two institutions are very important for development and better quality of internal audit. Last two parts focuses on risks and frauds join with profession of internal auditors and internal policies. Practical part deals with real situation of internal audit profession in private enterprise and some recommendation to improve internal controls in these big companies. Method this diploma thesis is evaluation own experiences and comparation teoretical rules and business practice.
