Analysis and design of a conference management information system

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a návrhem informačního systému, který má sloužit pro účely vědecké konference pořádané na Vysoké škole ekonomické v Praze. Cílem práce je výběr takového informačního systému, který by usnadnil procesy administrativních činností během organizace konference. Vybrané řešení musí splňovat konkrétní požadavky a být finančně dostupné. Úvodní část práce je zaměřená na business analýzu vědeckých konferencí a konkrétně konference IMES. Druhá část práce obsahuje postup vyhledávání a analýzy typových aplikačních systémů vhodných pro organizaci vědecké konference. Třetí část se zabývá návrhem informačního systému na míru konference.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and design of the information system, which is to be used for the purposes of the scientific conference organized at the University of Economics in Prague. The aim of the thesis is to select such an information system, which would facilitate the processes of administrative activities during the organization of the conference. The chosen solution must meet specific requirements and be financially affordable. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on business analysis of scientific conferences, in particular the IMES conference. The second part of the thesis contains a procedure for searching and analyzing the type of application systems suitable for the organization of a scientific conference. The third part deals with the designing of a conference information system.
