Creative writing in the information society with a focus on the processes of creating epic genres

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje problematice postupů tvůrčího psaní pro tvorbu epických žánrů, které jsou vhodné pro užití samouka žijícího v informační společnosti. První kapitola definuje pojmy jako informace, informační společnost a tvůrčí psaní. Druhá kapitola ukazuje vazbu mezi výše uvedenou trojici a zasazuje roli tvůrčího psaní do kontextu informační společnosti. Třetí kapitola se zabývá postupy tvůrčího psaní. Proto je v této kapitole také uveden souhrn zásad ze zkoumaných dokumentů. Poslední kapitola provádí komparaci mezi postupy tvůrčího psaní a teorií literatury. Na konci práce můžeme vidět rozdíl mezi postupy tvůrčího psaní, které jsou jejich autory upraveny pro účely tvorby epických textů v informační společnosti a teorií literatury, jež působí odborněji, ale zato nabízí další možnosti práce na epickém textu.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the issue of creative writing processes for the creation of epic genres, which can be useful for a self-taught person living in the information society. The first chapter defines concepts such as information, information society and creative writing. The second chapter shows the rapport between the above mentioned three terms and indicates the role of creative writing in the context of information society. The third chapter looks at the processes of creative writing, and it also provides a summary of these processes from the examined documents. The last chapter makes a comparison between the methods of creative writing and the theory of literature. At the end of the work we can see the difference between the approaches of creative writing, which are adapted by their authors for the purpose of creating epic texts in the information society, and the theory of literature, which seems more formal but offers other possibilities to work on epic texts.
