Occupation therapy in the sport of disabled.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá ergoterapií ve sportu zdravotně postižených, kde se zaměřuji na problematiku pacientů po přerušení míchy a jejich možnostech jízdy na handbicích. V první, obecné části práce, je popsána anatomie páteře a míchy a jejich funkce. Dále možnosti poškození míchy, diagnostiku míšních lézí, poúrazové fáze onemocnění a následné klinické projevy postižení, poslední částí je neurologická prognóza klienta. Ve speciální části práce vám představím možné rehabilitační metody pro klienty s míšní lézí, podrobně se zaměříme na roli ergoterapeuta ve sportu a postupně se přesuneme k samotnému handcyklingu. Samotná kazuistika klientky se také nachází ve speciální části mé práce. Najdeme zde anamnézu klientky, použitá ergoterapeutická vyšetření a na závěr stanovený krátkodobý a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with occupational therapy in disabled sport, where I focus on patients after spinal cord transection and their ability to drive handbikes. In the first, general part of the work, described the anatomy of the spine and spinal cord and their functions. Furthermore, the possibility of damage to the spinal cord, the diagnosis of spinal cord lesions, traumatic phase of the disease and subsequent clinical manifestations of the last part of the neurological prognosis client. In the special part of the work will introduce possible methods of rehabilitation for clients with spinal cord lesions in detail, we will focus on the role of the occupational therapist in the sport and gradually move on to the actual handcykling. Casuistry clients are also located in a special part of my job. We can find a history of the client, used by occupational therapy examination and the conclusions of short-term and long-term occupational therapy plan.
