The return on the investment in education

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjištění, kdy se investice do vzdělání studentům vrátí, z toho důvodu je bakalářská práce zaměřena na studenty vysoké školy denního i kombinovaného studia. Nejdůležitější částí této práce je dotazníkové šetření, které zjišťuje, jak konkrétně vysoké výdaje studenti mají, proč právě studují vysokou školu, kdo jim tyto náklady hradí a hlavně jaká je jejich očekávaná doba návratnosti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První částí je teoretická část, která se zabývá charakteristikou pojmů vzdělání, investice, návratnost a v neposlední řadě je zde vymezena metodika hodnocení investic, se kterou dále pokračuji v části praktické. Hlavním předmětem aplikační části je zpracování dotazníkového šetření, výsledky jsou posléze porovnávány s výsledky průměrného studenta a s výsledky mezi studenty prezenční a studenty kombinované formy studia. Druhá část se zabývá výpočty čisté současné hodnoty, vnitřního výnosového procenta a metody doby návratnost. V závěru práce, jsou získané výsledky porovnávány.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to determine when to invest in education to students return, hence, the thesis focused on college students daily and combined studies. The most important part of this work is a survey, which determines exactly how high students are spending, why study at university who pays these costs, and especially what their expected time of return. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is a theoretical part, which deals with the characteristics of terms of education, investment, return and last but not least, there is a defined methodology for evaluating investment is continuing on the practical part. The main subject of the application is processing the survey results are then compared with the results as an average student outcomes between students and full-time study program students. The second part deals with the calculation of net present value, internal rate of return and payback period method. In conclusion, the results obtained are compared.
