Adaptation of 1st grade students in primary school

Abstract:

V diplomové práci „Adaptace žáků 1. ročníku na 1.stupni ZŠ“ se zaměřuji na zvládání zátěže žáka prvního ročníku a jeho schopnost kooperovat s kolektivem, třídním učitelem a nastavenými pravidly. Pozornost věnuji také očekávání třídních učitelů, co je podle nich nutné žáky naučit během prvních tří týdnů výuky ve škole. Cílem této práce je provést analýzu adaptačního procesu žáka při vstupu na základní školu. Praktická část je realizována na brněnských základních školách během prvních tří týdnů výuky, a to formou pozorování žáků i třídy, rozhovoru s třídním učitelem a dotazníkovým šetřením.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis carries the name “Adaptation of 1st grade students in primary school”. It focuses on how students deal with new environment, society, duties, and other things that correspond to school such as ability to cooperate with classmates, homeroom teacher and established rules. I have also paid my attention to the homeroom teacher expectations, what they see important to teach the students in the first three weeks. The goal of this thesis is the analysis of the student adaptation process in the primary school. The practical part of this thesis was done on various elementary schools in Brno during the first three weeks of schooling. Observation of the students, class, interviewing the homeroom teachers and survey was done.
