Comparison of attitudes and motivation of students to study adult education in daily studies and combined studies

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací a postoji ke studiu u studentů prezenční a kombinované formy studia andragogiky na dvou vysokých školách. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit v čem se motivace a postoje ke studiu u těchto dvou forem studia rozlišují, čím nebo kým jsou studenti prezenční a kombinované formy studia při svém studiu ovlivněni a jaký je jejich postoj k uplatnitelnosti získaných vědomostí v celkovém kontextu absolvování studia. V teoretické části popisujeme studium andragogiky se zaměřením na studium v České republice a na Slovensku, profil absolventů andragogického oboru, formy studia na vysokých školách, motivaci a postoje ke studiu. V empirické části analyzujeme a vyhodnocujeme data, která byla získána dotazníkovým šetřením prováděným mezi studenty kombinované formy studia na Ostravské univerzitě a prezenční formě studia na Komenského univerzitě v Bratislavě. Výstupem práce bude vyhodnocení konkrétních motivačních faktorů a postojů ke studiu u zkoumané vzorky studentů prezenční a kombinované formy studia.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with motivation and attitude towards the students' studies of andragogy in full-time and combined forms at two universities. The main aim of the thesis is to find out how, the motivation and attitudes towards the studies in these two forms of study are distinguished, who or what influences the students' studies of full-time and the combined forms of study, and their attitude towards the applicability of acquired knowledge in the overall context of graduation. In the theoretical part we describe the study of andragogy with a focus on study in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the profile of graduates of the andragogy field, forms of study at universities, motivation and attitudes towards their study. In the empirical part we analyze and evaluate the data, which was obtained by a questionnaire survey of students of the combined form of study at the University of Ostrava and full-time study at Comenius University in Bratislava. The output of theis thesis will be an evaluation of the specific motivational factors and attitudes towards studies of the studied sample of the students of the full-time and combined forms of study.
