Tato diplomová práce se zabývá francouzskou a českou terminologií tenisu. Teoretická část zahrnuje vymezení terminologie jako disciplíny, představení základních pojmů a metodologii terminologického výzkumu. V závěru se zabývá charakteristikou odborného textu a jeho překladem.
