The system of employee benefits in a selected organization

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá systémem zaměstnaneckých benefitů (výhod) ve vybrané organizaci s cílem navrhnout doporučení či konkrétní řešení pro zlepšení stávajícího systému benefitů. Důležitost této problematiky spočívá v tom, že odměňování pracovníků je silným motivačním faktorem, a že pro docílení požadovaného výkonu pracovníků je třeba mít mimo jiné vhodně sestavený systém zaměstnaneckých benefitů jakožto součást systému odměňování. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá základními pojmy systému benefitů, vývojem benefitů, odměňováním zaměstnanců a benefity ve veřejném sektoru. Praktická část využívá metody dotazníkového šetření, přičemž analyzuje systém benefitů ve vybrané organizaci a interpretuje zjištěné výsledky. Analýza dat předkládá i míru souhlasu s naplněním výzkumných tvrzení a míru důležitosti výzkumných tvrzení z pohledu zaměstnanců. Výsledkem analytického kroku je určení oblastí, na které by se měla organizace více zaměřit. Výstupem práce je i několik návrhů a doporučení na zlepšení motivačního systému organizace.

Abstract:

This Bachelor Thesis examines the Employee Benefit System within a selected organization, aiming to propose recommendations or specific enhancements for its current structure. The significance of this issue is underscored by the fact that rewarding employees serves as a powerful motivational factor. Achieving the desired performance level of workers necessitates, among other aspects, a well-structured Employee Benefit System as part of the overall rewards and bonuses system. The thesis is structured into Theoretical and Practical sections. The Theoretical part delves into the foundational concepts of the Employee Benefit System, the evolution of benefits, employee remuneration, and benefits within the public sector. The Practical part employs a Questionnaire Survey methodology to analyze the benefits framework in a selected organization and to interpret the results obtained. Moreover, the data analysis elucidates the Degree of Agreement with the proposed research statements and assesses the significance of these statements from the perspective of the employees. Identifying areas for higher organizational focus constitutes the primary outcome of the analysis conducted in this study. Furthermore, the thesis proposes a number of suggestions and recommendations aimed at enhancing the organization’s motivational frame
