History of the Turkish Ballet and Contemporary Dance

Abstract:
Moje diplomová práce se zabývá tancem v Turecku a současnou situací tanečního uměnív této oblasti. Ve své práci analyzuji taneční historii od Osmanské říše, proces a repertoár vestátních istitucích a v nezávislých souborech. Dále zmiňuji turecké choreografy, kteří významěovlivnili klasický a moderní tanec.
Abstract:
My thesis is based on dance art and its current situation in Turkey. In my work I begin toanalise the history of dance in Turkey from the Ottoman era, followed by the process andrepertoire of the state ballet companies, independent foundations and contemporary dancecompanies.
