Price convergence in EU

Abstract:

Thesis „Price convergence in EU“ deals with comparative price level convergence and inflation in European union. Observations presented in this thesis are made on national level and on level of groups of goods and services. Main goal of thesis is to describe evolution of price convergence in European union and determine, whether its corelation with inflation differances is positive on aggregate level and level of individual groups of goods and services.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca „Konvergencia cenových hladín v EÚ“ sa zaoberá konvergenciou komparatívnych cenových hladín a infláciou v rámci Európskej únie. Pozorovania prezentované v rámci tejto práce sú uskutočňované na úrovni národnej a na úrovni skupín tovarov a služieb. Cieľom práce je popísať vývoj konvergencie cenových hladín v Európskej únii a zistiť, či je jej korelácia s rozptylom inflácie pozitívna na úrovni agregátnej aj na úrovni jednotlivých skupín tovarov a služieb.
