Specifics of realization of musical activities in small class kindergarten - case study

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou specifika realizace hudebních činností v malotřídní mateřské škole. Součástí práce jsou dva oddíly. Teoretický oddíl se zaměřuje na vymezení mateřských škol v rámci vzdělávací soustavy České republiky a na problematiku malotřídního školství. Dále je zde pozornost věnována hudebnímu vývoji jedince a jednotlivým hudebním činnostem tak, jak by měly být situovány v rámci výuky. Součástí tohoto oddílu je i integrace hudebních činností do jednotlivých vzdělávacích oblastí rámcového vzdělávacího programu. Hlavním cílem empirického oddílu je prostřednictvím vybraných výzkumných metod - analýzy školní dokumentace, pozorování formou náslechových hodin a strukturovaného rozhovoru zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem jsou tyto činnosti uskutečňovány v Mateřské škole Ostrava - Martinov a jaká jsou jejich specifika vzhledem k věkovému složení dětí. V závěru práce jsou výsledky výzkumného šetření vyhodnoceny a jsou zde také uvedeny doporučení pro další pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the specifics of the implementation of musical activities in a small-class kindergarten. The thesis consists of two sections. The theoretical section focuses on the definition of kindergartens within the educational system of the Czech Republic and on the issue of small-class education. Furthermore, the attention is paid to the musical development of the individual and to particular musical activities as they should be positioned within the curriculum. This section also includes the integration of musical activities into the different educational areas of the framework education programme. The main goal of the empirical section is to use selected research methods (analysis of school documentation, observation in the form of listening sessions and structured interviews) and to find out whether and how these activities are implemented in the kindergarten in Ostrava - Martinov and what are their specifics in relation to the age composition of the children there. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the results of the research investigation and recommendations for further pedagogical practice.
