Abstract:

Obsah této bakalářské práce je věnován revitalizaci veřejného prostoru Křížové hory v Českém Krumlově, která leží nad městem a vede k ní cesta 7 bolestí panny Marie (7 kaplí). Jelikož se jedná o zásah do sakrální architektury, jedná se o práci s přesahem mimo geografickou vymezenost místa. Sakrální architektura coby dílo prostoru, myšlenky a času má v posledních desetiletích nelehkou pozici a úkolem této práce je přinést dlouhodobou strategii pro místo, které nepopiratelně zaniká a přimět čtenáře zamyslet se nad osudem dalších podobných míst, která mnohdy zhmotňují naši vlastní historii.

Abstract:

Content of this bachelor thesis is aimed on revitalisation of the public space around Krizova hora hill in Cesky Krumlov. The hill lies above the city and there is a Seven sorrows of Mary pathway that goes from the city all the way up to the hill with a 7 stops (7 chapels) on the way. Because of the sacred architecture realm, design of this place goes way bayond it's physical proportions. Sacred architecture, as a work of space, idea and time, has been struggling since 20th century to keep on the track with new wave of digital technologies and to be in the center of happening as it was for centuries. This bachelor thesis should not only bring solution to Cesky Krumlov, but it also should drive reader to think about all other similar spaces and how men can help them to survive.
