Fundamental analysis of airline industry

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Fundamentální analýza sektoru aerolinek“ je provedení fundamentální analýzy sektoru aerolinek a čtyř největších společností dle tržní kapitalizace a formulace doporučení pro potenciální investory. Tyto společnosti jsou Delta Airlines, American Airlines, United Continental a Southwest Airlines. Úvodní část se věnuje teorii fundamentální analýzy sektoru a podniku, následuje analýza sektoru aerolinek a poté ocenění vybraných společností.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis: “Fundamental analysis of airline industry” is to apply fundamental analysis to airline sector and four biggest airline companies by market capitalization and form recommendations for potential investors. These airline companies are Delta Airlines, American Airlines, United Continental, and Southwest Airlines. The beginning is focused on theory of sector fundamental analysis and fundamental analysis of a company. Then follows Airline sector analysis and after that valuation of chosen companies.
