Historiky Jana Slavíka, Josefa Pekaře a Kamila Kroftu spojoval kromě profese také zájem o přítomné dění, což se projevovalo v jejich publicistické činnosti. Abstract:
The historians Jan Slavík, Josef Pekař and Kamil Krofta were connected not only with the profession but also with the interest in the present, which was expressed in their journalism. The common topic of all historians was Hussitism, whereas Slavík and Pekař disputed sharply the interpretation of Hussitism. Their argument was a part of dispute of a sense of Czech history.
