Valuation of inventory depending on the requirements of different users

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem zásob a jejich oceňováním. V teoretické části je uvedena definice zásob dle českých účetních předpisů, následují způsoby oceňování při pořízení (pořizovací cena, vlastní náklady, reprodukční pořizovací cena) a způsoby při vyskladnění (předem stanovená cena, vážený aritmetický průměr, FIFO a LIFO). Uvedeny jsou metody účtování o zásobách, dále je pozornost věnována inventarizaci a zaúčtování vzniklých inventarizačních rozdílů. Představeno je také manažerské účetnictví, a to především právě ve vztahu k zásobám. Hlavním cílem práce je podat komplexní přehled o zásobách v českém účetnictví, který je doplněn analýzou přístupu vybrané společnosti Plast, a.s. k této problematice včetně kalkulace nákladů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of inventories and their valuation. In the theoretical part, the definition of inventory according to Czech accounting regulations is presented, followed by the methods of valuation during acquisition (acquisition price, manufacturing cost, reproduction acquisition price) and methods of valuation (predetermined price, weighted average cost, FIFO, and LIFO). Stated are methods of inventory accounting; attention is also paid to the inventory and accounting of the resulting inventory differences. Managerial accounting is also introduced, especially in relation to inventories. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of inventory in Czech accounting, which is supplemented by an analysis of the approach of the selected company to this issue, including costing.
