Jiri Bezdek - creation for children and young people choirs with analysis of selected compositions

Abstract:

Jiřího Bezděka můžeme považovat za úspěšného skladatele vokální hudby. Skladby různého typu i žánru pro dětský nebo mládežnický sbor vznikaly většinou na přímou žádost sbormistrů a podstatná část sborových skladeb vznikla z iniciativy sbormistryně Mgr. Marie Novákové pro její dětské sbory ? Chlumčanský dětský sbor a Dětský pěvecký sbor Mariella při 15.ZŠ v Plzni. Poslední dva cykly jsou komponovány pro komorní pěvecký sbor Ko.Mar pod vedením Hany Bezděkové. Na základě principu ?aktivizované analýzy? autorka zpřístupňuje čtenáři hudební strukturu skladeb, ale snaží se proniknout až k ideím díla a myšlení skladatele v podrobných analýzách stěžejních skladeb. Talisman pro dětský sbor, řehtačku a klavír z roku 2003 se zabývá úkolem jak zdůraznit specificky české hlásky, Vánoční báseň z roku 2004 označil sám skladatel za pokus o vánoční postmodernu pod dojmem studia hudební řeči Oliviera Messiaena, a konečně cyklus sedmi menších sborových skladeb ?Když odchází rusalky? (2009) pro smíšený sbor, klavír, akordeon a bicí se velmi intimně zabývá nitrem bolestného přechodu mladého člověka plného ideálů do světa dospělých. Technická obtížnost uvedených sborových skladeb zůstává na střední úrovni, obtížnost pochopení textů a předání potřebného hudebního výrazu se přesouvá výrazně výše k obtížnějším skladbám. Skladatel Jiří Bezděk si pečlivě vybírá texty a dále s nimi pracuje, daří se mu vystihnout myšlenky, emoce a nálady veršů a podpořit je hudbou. Změny v textech jsou vždy vedeny snahou co nejvíce se přiblížit svému původnímu záměru hudebnímu. Neméně důležitá v uměleckém procesu je interpretační složka skladeb. Ve skladbách J.Bezděka je vždy propojena vysoká umělecká hodnota s individualitou a osobitostí.

Abstract:

Jiří Bezděk can be considered as a successful composer of the vocal music. Compositions of various types and genres for a children´s or a youth choir were mostly created on direct request of the conductors and a essential part of choir compositions were created on initiative of the conductor Mgr. Marie Nováková for her children´s choirs ? Chlumčany Children´s Choir and Children´s Choir Mariella at 15th primary school in Pilsen. The last two cycles are composed for a chamber choir Ko.Mar under the direction of Hana Bezděková. On the basis of ´activitised analysis´ principle the author makes the music structure of the compositions accessible to a reader, but she also tries to get in to the ideas of the piece and thinking of the composer in particular analyses of the pivotal compositions. The ´Talisman for Children´s Choir, the Clapper and the Piano´ from 2003 deals with the challenge how to emphasize specific czech sounds, the ´Christmas Poem´ from 2004 was described by the conductor on his own as an attempt at a Christmas postmodernism under the impression of Olivier Messiaen´s musical speech and finally a cycle of seven smaller choir compositions ´When the Water Nymphs Are Leaving´ from 2009 for the mixed choir, the piano, the accordion and the drums is concerned with the heart of a painful passage of a young man full of ideals into the world of adults in a very intimate way. The technical difficulty of the listed choir compositions stays on a middle level, the difficulty of comprehension of the lyrics and delivery of the needed music expression is shifting markedly higher to more difficult compositions. Composer Jiří Bezděk chooses the lyrics and handles them very carefully, he goes well with hitting the idea, emotion and mood of the verses and supports them by the music. The changes in lyrics are always lead by the effort to come closer to the original music intention as much as possible. No less in the art process is the interpretation part of composition of the composition. There are always interconected a high artistic value and individuality and pecularity in the compositions of Jiří Bezděk.
