Literature and the Demise of the GDR 1989. Studies on the example of the work of Thomas Brussig.
Abstract:
The main theme of this bachelor thesis is German literature from the period of 'Velvet Revolution' in 1989. The aim of the thesis is to introduce this literature together with bases of historical facts. Novels "Am kürzeren Ende der Sonennallee" (At the Short End of the Sonennallee) and "Helden wie wir" (Heroes Like Us) by Thomas Brussig have been used to examine author's style and typical features …more
Abstract:
Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je německá literatura z doby sametové revoluce, jež proběhla v roce 1989. Cílem je představit tuto literaturu spolu se základy historických faktů. Na románech "Am kürzeren Ende der Sonennallee" (Na kratším konci ulice) a "Helden wie wir" (Hrdinové jako my) od Thomase Brussiga je prozkoumán autorův styl a typické znaky pro jeho díla.
