Cílem práce je zhodnotit konvergenční proces České republiky a Slovenské republiky. V první kapitole je popsáno historické pozadí vzniku Smlouvy o Evropské unii a detailně rozebrána kritéria, která byla stanovena pro vstup do eurozóny. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the process of convergence of the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. The first chapter describes the historical background of the Treaty on European Union and analyzed in detail the criteria that were set for euro entry.
