Mentorship in the teaching of professional practice from the point of view of the student

Abstract:

Zvládání stresových situací je součástí života každého z nás. Tato práce je zaměřena na problematiku stresu v kontextu s nástupem na povinnou odbornou ošetřovatelskou praxi do zdravotnického zařízení. V souvislosti s tím se zabývám volbou vhodných kopingových strategií, pomocí kterých se studenti vyrovnávají se stresem. Ve výzkumné části je použit kvantitativní výzkum standardizovaným dotazníkem Coping Behavior Inventory (Sheu, 2002) u studentů FZS UJEP. Data byla získávána se souhlasem studentů anonymně a byla statisticky vyhodnocena. Výstupy projektu budou konzultovány s psychologem a předpokládám, že budou využity pro plánování odborné praxe studentů FZS.

Abstract:

Managing of stressful situations is part of everybody's life. This thesis is focused on the issue of stress in the context of the introduction to compulsory nursing practice in the health care facility. Related to these situations I deal with a choice of adequate coping strategies that help students cope with stress. In the research section it is used a quantitative research according to the method of Coping Behavior Inventory (Sheu, 2002) at students of the Faculty of Medical Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University. The data was obtained with anonymous student´s approval and was statistically evaluated. The project outputs are going to be consulted with the psychologist and I assume that they will be used for planning the professional practice of FZS students.
